Reunion Update: Campus Tours

Just so you know, the school has offered campus tours for alumni and their families between 4-6 PM on Friday, October 2nd. If you plan on being in the area, stop by Silverado High School before attending the Homecoming Game at Ray Moore Stadium.

Lety and I recently took our own tour and found some remnants of our class around campus. When we stepped into the multi-purpose room, we saw the mural I painted for the Class of 2001. It was good to finally see it mounted to the gym wall.

Of course, our tour didn't end there. We walked around for a couple more minutes, left notes on teachers white-boards and desks, and then made our way to the upper campus. We stepped into the performing arts center, walked into the prop room and found a prop that we created way back in the day. We couldn't believe it! The egyptian themed, sphinx-like cat that we spent hours creating in a garage for the Mr. Hawk Competition was still in that room TEN YEARS later!! It was a golden moment!
